With this option, the client can elect to hosted the database in their office or remote site, and have Maxwell manage or provide support via remote access e.g. VPN.  This option is suitable for clients wanting on demand support, or clients that have a recently installed a data management system and want experienced support.  The data management system provided is industry best practice and customised for the client requirements.  This solution provides the client with control over their data management process, and peace of mind that an experienced organisation such as Maxwell is on demand for support.

Maxwell hosted data management system

Maxwell hosting and managing the data management system will appeal to mining and exploration companies wanting to completely outsource this process.  This may be due to technical reasons, skills shortages, reduced staff or lack of infrastructure.  In this option, Maxwell will host and manage the database on our IT infrastructure, and then replicate or deliver the database, or parts of the database, to the client’s office or remote site.  One of the advantage of a replicated database hosted in the clients office, is that the staff have access to the complete database.  They are then in a position to effectively run client side orientated software, and can run other functions such as reporting, querying, etc.
