The local Nomad database schema is initially set up in the administrator module from the master database using an easy to follow configuration wizard. Data capture configurations are built following the wizard’s directions, selecting tables and fields required for specific tasks. The results is that a single Nomad application and PDA can be used for gathering data across a variety of mining or exploration activities, all with the referential integrity essential for synchronisation with the master database. Specific user requirements are set up using the profile wizard: such as import/export directories, case sensitivity, hiding columns, utilising various logging grid defaults etc.
