ABOUT THE COURSE

The DataShed Database Administrator training program is for the user who will be responsible for the company or site geological database. Participants will be shown how to manage their database using DataShed and shown detailed processes for importing, validating and exporting all drilling, geological and sampling data, including analysis of QAQC data. Participants will have exposure to Maxwell Best Practice procedures.

At the completion of this course participants should be able to:

• Create customised configuration of database for DataShed, including security and viewing data
• Perform data management: importing and import layouts and updating
• Understand DataShed assay management systems
• Have the SQL skills to do basic table management
• Have a general understanding of triggers and stored procedures
• Be able to link Access to SQL database
